Many of the Action Items outlined in Focus Area Five are being led by the Information Industries Bureau (IIB) in partnership with the Queensland Government Chief Information Office. IIB has completed the majority of its project planning activities and will be progressing these Action Items over the next few months in consultation with industry.
As part of the activities, IIB held the first ‘ What’s New in Government ICT Solutions’ event on Wednesday, 20 April 2005 . Six ICT organisations had the opportunity to ‘showcase’ their products to a small but very interested audience of State, Local and Federal Government personnel.
