New look for the ICT Dashboard
To make it easier to see and access the latest in the government’s key ICT projects, the ICT Dashboard has been significantly improved.
Based on research into how Queenslanders were using the ICT Dashboard, we have overhauled its appearance, to provide the most useful information up front.
Now, visitors to the dashboard have a whole-of-government view, along with a visual representation of how each agency is progressing with its projects.
Queensland Government Chief Information Officer Andrew Mills said the objective was to make it much easier to see what is happening across the government ICT space, reinforcing the government’s commitment to openness and transparency.
‘We’re continuing to provide an explanation as to why initiatives have a red or amber status,’ Andrew said. ‘The new version is also more mobile-friendly with the information easily able to be viewed on all types of devices,’ he said.
The first of its kind in Australia, the ICT Dashboard has reported on more than 200 projects since its release last year. At the time of the new look dashboard, $457 million worth of projects and their details were published.
