QGCIO Agency Support plays an integral role in building relationships and identifying opportunities for collaboration between agencies. The core functions of QGCIO Agency Support include:

• being the first point of contact for entities seeking advice, information and/or support in relation to Queensland Government information management and/or information and communication technology (ICT)
• fostering cross-agency connections and partnerships through capturing and sharing lessons learnt across Queensland Government
• communication and awareness activities to highlight QGCIO products and services
• support to agencies in the application of the Queensland Government ICT planning methodology specifically relating to the ICT planning baseline.

To increase the level of partnering and collaboration, QGCIO Agency Support liaises with Queensland Government agencies, Queensland Government Chief Technology Office (QGCTO), Queensland Government Procurement Office (QGCPO) and other strategic partners.
