The QGCIO Secretariat plays a central role in coordinating secretariat and administrative services. Our clients include a number of high level senior Strategic Information and ICT (SI&ICT) boards, committees, working groups and other ICT governance bodies within the Queensland Government and across other jurisdictions. It also liaises with the Office of the Government Statistician and Queensland State Archives in relation to strategic information management.

The QGCIO Secretariat:

• maintains the SI&ICT Governance Framework
• monitors and ensures compliance with the SI&ICT Governance Framework
• provides strategic advice on the SI&ICT Governance Framework
• establishes mechanisms to facilitate knowledge sharing of successful ICT-related projects.
