The $2 Million Review process examines ICT product and/or service purchases where the total expenditure exceeds $2 Million (including GST).
The process:
- helps agencies to adequately define their business and technical requirements, ensuring that the ICT solution will meet their business needs
- encourages agencies to use early market engagement techniques to gain an understanding of the supply market and vendor capability
- helps agencies select appropriate procurement methods and approaches to market-driven individual requirements.
At a higher level, the $2 Million Review ensures that the Queensland Government derives maximum value from its investment in ICT.
