The ICT Industry Workgroup was formed in 2005 and the ICT Industry Workgroup Executive Office established in 2007. The executive office is jointly funded by the Queensland Government and the ICT industry.
The ICT Industry Workgroup represents and provides a unified voice for Queensland’s ICT industry associations. It aims at improving governance and procurement practices to achieve better outcomes for the industry and Queensland’s economy.
The workgroup represents the ICT industry at the Industry/Government ICT Group, which is chaired by the Information and Communication Technology Minister, the Honourable Robert Schwarten.
