The SmartAccess Panel Arrangement is a procurement arrangement for the purchase of voice services, including network access, local, long distance and in-bound call services.
The benefits to the Queensland Government of this arrangement include savings on long distance calls of 33%, and on fixed to mobile calls of up to 71%. Combined, these savings mean real reductions in the cost of voice services to the Queensland Government of approximately $9M per annum.
Queensland Government Departments and Agencies may obtain more information on the SmartAccess Panel Arrangement on the QGCIO GovNet site (Queensland Government only).
