The Queensland Government Chief Information Office (QGCIO) facilitates ICT Industry Presentations to Queensland Government agencies. To be able to present to Government, ICT suppliers must be accredited under GITC V5. The QGCIO has developed a simple application process for ICT suppliers wishing to promote their products, services or emerging technologies, or outline ICT best practice to Queensland Government agencies. The advantage to ICT industry is the opportunity to present to many Government agencies through one contact point: the QGCIO. Agencies also have the advantage of attending presentations that have been organised and vetted by the QGCIO, ensuring that content is relevant to the Queensland Government and meets the work being undertaken under the Smart Directions Statement for Information and Communications Technology within the Queensland Government (PDF, 580 kB).
