National Broadband Development Group 

The National Broadband Development Group (NBDG) is an OCC working group. Its primary objectives are to develop national policy settings, and support cooperative arrangements and a strategic approach to stimulating sustainable industry investment, in scalable next generation broadband infrastructure.

The Director, Telecommunications and Industry Liaison, Queensland Government Chief Information Office, John Spinaze represents the Queensland Government at the NBDG.

The NBDG are commencing development of a National framework for the collaborative development and use of Broadband in Australia, which will focus on utilising Broadband as a key enabler for public sector services and applications in education, health, community and other key services.
