Internet Service Provider (ISP) (Definition)

A provider of internet access and bandwidth and related services to end users/organisations. An ISP may also provide help desk, web housing and e-mail services etc. to the end user/organisations. Internet peering is another form of ISP, either settlement based (commercial) or settlement-free (non-commercial).
