Leverage Stage (Definition)

The second stage of an asset lifecycle with uptake of the asset by one or two business units. Exposure of the asset is creating interest and a subsequent growing need, raising the importance of the asset to the business. Risk management is implemented and capital outlay continues with ongoing maintenance and functional improvement. (See also "Asset Lifecycle")
