Moments (Definition)

One of the three archetypes of the Queensland Government Information Portfolio Framework, describing those Information Assets which arise in order to track or monitor moments, periods or events that occur over time. Essentially, this type of information is focused on occurrences which must be tracked for business reasons or represent a specific point in the evolution of some “thing” of business significance. For example, in order to enable business activity monitoring to assess conformance with performance measures, an agency may capture information about the execution of key processes, such as the number of transactions performed. The framework domains which relate to Moments are: Events; Interactions; Services; Cases
